Our next meeting is scheduled for Sunday, August 5th from 1PM to 3PM. For now, we plan on meeting in Engineering 239 again, though this may change if we get get access to the lab. The main topics for the first part of the meeting will be the weekly challenge, as well as going over one of the custom services from iCTF 2007.
For the second half, we plan on covering some of the commonly used tools such as SSH and VPN, as well as accessing our Wiki, and further infrastructure updates regarding our upcoming Red vs. Blue competition.
Our next meeting is scheduled for Sunday, July 29th from 1PM to 3PM. We will be meeting in Engineering 239 once again, located at the top of the stairs of the Engineering building. The first topic we plan to cover is basic BackTrack Linux usage, focusing on using Metasploit. This will be a hands-on workshop, so please bring a laptop with BackTrack if you are interested. Several test VMs will be set up in order to experiment against. The second topic will be about our VPN and VM infrastructure, specifically determining how we want to set up our virtual networks and systems for our Red vs. Blue competition, as well as any additional services we may need.
Our next meeting is currently scheduled for Sunday, July 15th from 1PM to 3PM. The meeting will be held in Engineering 239, located on the second floor at the top of the main staircase. As always, everyone is welcome to attend.
We plan on going over several challenges from the recent pCTF competition, covering topics such as steganography, encryption, and reverse engineering. Additionally, we plan to cover some commonly used tools such as VirtualBox.
